     The Tradesmen has been serving Colorado and the Western Slope since 1993.  We buy, sell, trade and deal in all types of firearms including new, used, Class III, collectible, and consignment guns, as well as special orders and transfers.  All new guns are only $10 over cost. FFL and Internet transfers are only $20. All consignments are a low flat-rate of $50.

     In every service, we will take the time to listen to your questions and offer the training and equipment that best suits your needs.  We know that buying a firearm can involve a great amount of time, money, and responsibility and we want to help you make the best choice for the protection, the rights, and the recreation of you and your family.

     We have more than twenty years of actual field-experience in Military, Law Enforcement, Civilian, and Hunting firearms and training.  We are the only gun store on the Western Slope that has this level of Certified Firearms Instructors and Certified Armorers that are highly-skilled and who will patiently and appropriately help you make your own decisions.

     We offer a full range of firearms classes and training; From taking the necessary time here in the store to show you each firearm you are considering (how they work, their advantages and disadvantages, their suitability for your self-defense and/or recreation) to discussing cost and quality.  We have a full line of Firearms Safety and Personal Defense classes that include Introduction, Basic, Concealed Weapon Permit, and even Advanced Tactical Handgun, Rifle, and Shotgun courses.  We also provide each customer and student with a vast network of support organizations and informational resources that will keep you and your equipment at their best.

     Our prices are lower than anywhere else and we can usually beat any advertised price.  Special orders pre-paid in cash are only ten dollars over cost.  Transfers are only twenty dollars. Consignments have only a fifty dollar fee.  Our customers return to us again and again because of our honest and friendly service, our supportive experience, and because we save them so much money on their firearms and accessories.

     We really do want you visit as many gun stores as you can.  Consider their prices and service.  Then, evaluate the people behind the counter.  Do they really know what they are talking about, or are they just trying to make a sale?  What “real” experience do they have that qualifies them to speak on the subject with any authority?  We know that if you do these things, you will realize what all our customers have come to know...  that we offer the best customer service, the lowest prices, and the most excellent products and training.
