This is just a small clip of a video I made called “Earth.”  Where I live in Colorado, we are already at an altitude of 5,500.  Add to that the fact that my buddies and I are landing several thousand feet higher on the top of the many mesas that are scattered around the Rocky Mountains out here and it makes for some interesting and challenging flying. This is a spot just north of Aspen by the Colorado River.  Taking off is a little bumpy because there are so many elk tracks and imprints in the dirt.  This is the spot that caught on fire one year ago.  (See the fire clip on this page.)  I did all of the piloting, videography, and editing and even composed the song for this clip.  These little airplane videos are works in progress for me, so I hope to improve them as I gain more experience.  (This is a larger file, so it may take a few moments to buffer and download.)
